Two Poems by Andy Bate.

A clean slate.

In this world that we live,
Should we not learn to forgive.
Hold no grudge against another,
End a feud with a brother.
Do not leave a friend in need,
Make good any misdeed.
Always so easy to forget,
Bitter words to regret.
Torment that will never cease,
Find a path to make a peace.
In this world that we live,
Should we not learn to forgive?

Dreams on the horizon.

As far as I can see,
There is sea, a sea for the brave and bold.
Across that sea, I can see,
A place where, for you and me,
Dreams will unfold.
