The world is a drain,
To seek and
destroy those sane,
Drifting down cold lead pipes,
When you can no
longer fight,
Despite all your love,
Youre still just unsung,
A chorus with no words,
A lesson with nothing learnt,
The heart is
endless,
But jailed with vendors,
Who sell off your soul?
With all
your efforts
And youre still cold,
Confined in a space,
With
so much love,
To give to nothing,
Not even to embrace,
Maybe just
lace,
Laid on a pretty face,
Stained with anger,
To around here
linger,
Today is the greatest day of your life,
Today you found your
life,
Yesterday she was your strife,
Tomorrow she is your future,
Futile in trying,
Only in vain,
To ease the pain,
To let her
know your name,
But it seems a losing game,
To get her to know your
love,
To free her wings to above,
Maybe you should stop trying,
Burning yourself into a pit,
Ashes to ashes,
It obviously means
shit,
Or it would be reflected,
How you so have earned,
Your
yearning and tears,
Nothing but adjourned,
In a moment of falling,
Falling deep,
Far beyond your soul,
To where the light sleeps,
So that you yourself may console,
To find yourself after pain,
And
find a reason to stay sane,
To keep fighting the shame,
So that one
day,
You may stand in pride,
And look back at your lost youth,
And
say youth was nothing,
For look at me now,
I am free,
I bleed,
I feel life,
I flow rife,
Like the sun pouring from your veins,
The clouds bright - no more rains,
No more emotions in chains,
Tide
to the wall,
Flowing through an open door,
Whips to the heart,
Fire
on the soul,
Just to start,
Cracks to the head,
With heavy mallets,
Unheard screams,
In a dark dark palace,
Upon which you look down,
Upon which you frown,
As an unseen past,
But then you will see,
That it all went so fast,
Why would you fast?
So that your goodness
could last?
But in saving it all,
You will be left with nothing,
But rotten apples,
In a fresh cupboard,
Of what once was,
An
old cupboard,
Of grown fruits,
And new suits,
A smile hanging or
two,
What have you got to lose?
Why waste it to be rotten later,
Use it now,
And restock your soul,
For then consoled,
Will your
future you will behold.
