An End to Quantum Tunneling
Waves’ limited range of amplitude impacts sound, also energy.
Short surfs, like tightened springs, can burst much more than
Longer cousins.
When we moved through barriers, one was on fire, the other,
Less so. Yet, our union sustained momentum because of our
Persistence.
Now, weeks later, it’s impossible to keep sapping. We must
Accept similar “wavelengths” to retain our position in this
Universe.
Instructors' Manuals as Principled Palp
Instructors' manuals vary in idealized content, in realized content, besides form.
They tend to be unusual documents, departmental, unpublished, rhetorical
Statements issued by course directors, other institutional representatives.
Generally, they describe teaching methods & grading criteria, vary in idealized
Content of prescribed, described, even metatheorized ethics. That’s why they
Enable generations of instructors to proffer complex, contradictory values.
Some are stapled assemblages; others are large, professionally bound, printed
Volumes. Most can be accessed electronically via dedicated websites. Rarely,
They lack contiguity, consist of missives, expose policy-making credentials.
These brochures highlight institutions’ critical socialization cycle components,
Not instructors or students’ views. Yet, they’re widely distributed as lesson
Supplements, plus employed to support countless disciplinary practices.
