Rousing speeches aside, vulpine candidates use smoky
Quarters to fill coffers with campaign monies, crooked
Allies, else “friends of the press.”
Self-regarding “clever phrases” & appeals to pity, sometimes
Black mail, such persons never fail to pollute ambient moods
Or swing partnerships to profits.
“Cunningness,” eventually, necessitates disregarding perdition,
Closing eyes to impoverished babies, looking elsewhere if any
Reports of rape are filed.
It’s “crafty” players, after all, whose thew gets measured in soundbites.
Stupefied masses remain easily spurred toward finding their pocket on
Polls that “really matter.”
MacGuffin
Insignificant, unimportant, irrelevant object,
Such as Presidential candidates spouting all
Manner of balderdash.
Such as promised decreases in energy bills,
Food costs, rent. Also, mythical beings like
Fair trade, peace.
Sure, articulated opinions might be needed
To promote political agendas. Yet, these
Motivators rot.
Rhetorical dust corners protect few precious
Objects; more so, they’re installed to appeal
As shiny bits.
Even with apophenia, no person associates
Polished brass with momentous goings-on,
Else salvation.
The Wave Function of Probability Distribution:
Parenting Boys
We moderate uncertainty by electing a single wavelength, via
Attending to one child’s needs, not fathoming station/moment
Simultaneously, whatsoever. Predictability isn’t measurement,
Isn’t accurately knowing when baseball, else trumpet practice,
Ends—won’t rearrange preteen ability packets into neat orbits.
Locating electrons, typically, like shepherding school children,
Involves suppositions per singular locations of moving objects.
Quantities, single-handed, verify place, shackle atomic matter,
Sons, to precise positions. Else, the universe proves genuinely
Random, wave functions & relationships verging on collapse.
Probability distribution-interference patterns denote all overlaps
Spreading among wave entrances, cancelling each other. Youths
Seeking hidden quantum realms will forever find ample ciggies,
Whiskey, more doses. Rash lasses, ill-advised protons, cleave to
Fetching chaps, trump common sense, fashion stout distractions.
There exists waves that don’t sync with the world, don’t weigh up
Themselves as solid particles barrier-handicapped. Such geniuses
Might establish software companies, vacate college, maybe, purr
Huskily into microphones while on world tour. The same, they’ll
Mix with sorts collapsing their function and ruining their purpose.

The drama of equestrian competitions, cookoffs. Fishing contests not
