The Last Blink
by Orbindu Ganga

Sauntering with many
Thoughts, each step
Was gasping for words,
Wobbling along the lines
Trying to balance, disappearing
Colours eluded the strength
To see the near ones, legs
Started to crumble, falling
Like the feuillemort, the dust
Woke up from rest, sweat
Rinsed with the thud, rising
From the eventide, the falling
Of the twilight, never again
Showed the night to fall,
Moonlight waited for the dream
To live again, only to see
The eyes sealed, never to
Open again, leaving the dream
To meet once again.
