The Other Side. By Andy Bate.

Oh, you just slipped away,

Oh, you went and died.

You closed the door behind you,

Went on through to the other side.

Oh, I had a dream of you,

The valley is so pretty and wide.

I didn’t see pain or sorrow,

Peace is on the other side.

You seemed so at ease,

Oh, paradise seems just fine.

Keep yourself in my dreams,

Keep in touch from the other side.

It’s a slow train coming,

But we all get to ride.

The same destination for everyone,

Last stop is the other side.

Tell the man about me,

There is nothing I can hide.

Ask for a place next to you,

Oh, meet me on the other side.
