Unclaimed Baggage

 

Sapid possessions, more often than not, are disposed toward

Coruscating appearances rather than simple façades, Merely,

Within the atmosphere’s supernal region, Heaven, the etheric

Realm allegedly housing seraphs, cherubs, plus other spirits,

Do belongings score minor worth.

 

Deliberate L. L. Bean’s century-long policy of promoting

Just select hues and hemlines. Though branching beyond

Hunting shoes, sports gear to embrace fishing as well as

Camping equipment, it took decades to present women’s

Garments; steady profits had fixed inventory.

 

Note, goods left behind on trains, airlines become resold

By transportation establishments. Noticeably, hospitality

And travel sources disburse claims then sell found, extra

Personal effects. Overhead bins, taxies’ forms & carriers’

Properties are, thereafter, “professionally” sorted.

 

In love, too, discarded souls became new agencies’

Chattel. Matchmakers, restaurateurs, likewise, spa

Owners, opportunize those folks’ actuality. Adding

Fees to florists’ costs, wine bottles, chocolates, at

Least, benefits the sundry, involved entrepreneurs.

 

 

 

 

 

Ag-gag

 

Anti-whistleblower laws, paying deference to the agriculture industry,

Forbid filming farm activities.

 

Animals abuse notwithstanding, agribusiness pushes sanctioning the

Censoring of horrific activities.

 

“Ecological terrorism,” after all, doesn’t preclude milk from reaching

Babies, nor bread from feeding children.

 

Even when calves are chained, chickens debeaked, and countless more

Instances of cruelty notes, Pa Pa wants his weekly steaks.

 

So what if Frankenstein Foods fill the troughs at prisons, schools, also

Senior Centers? Corn and soy are essential to “mature diets.”

 

What’s more, herbicides and pesticides poison slowly—better to enjoy

Those tomatoes today than worry about cancers relevant to aging.

 

“Horrific truths” remain interpretable. Proper channels accept bribes.

Intimidation, likewise, works for humans as castration works for steers.

 

 

 

 

 

Bilateral Music

 

Bilateral music might facilitate folks troubled by anxiety, trauma.

Stress maybe’s reduced by volleying sounds between ears. See,

Stimulating grey matter via alternating patterns, can, perhaps,

Bring some measure of serenity.

 

Binaural beats, similarly, twinned tones of varying frequencies,

Promise to change the degree to which listeners think and feel.

Mental health, especially decreased depression, better sleep,

Promise beneficial results.

 

Nonetheless, it’s classical rifts that help plants grow. Such works

Embracing strings and horns likely amass responses ranging

From disease resistance to expansion. Devoid of rushing

Water or wind, greens prefer violas.
