I admit there is much to do

I admit the contest will be daunting

I admit my body will endure much

I admit to strive to do one more

 

I admit not to cheat myself

I admit first is the place I must have

I admit never to take a backward step

I admit sacrifice to be my best

 

I admit battle will be hard fought

I admit to give my very all

I admit to train in heat and cold

I admit pain and worship its touch

 

I admit solitude and all that it brings

I admit, never, the thought of defeat
